             TARPON

Andros Island is the winter tarpon destination – and summer? Even better.
I’ve studied tarpon movement across tides and moon cycles, and know their feeding habits by heart. If the weather cooperates and your fly lands right, you will get a shot – and likely a bite.

Rates: $700 per day MINIMUM 2 Days REQUIRED (includes water)
Season: Winter through Summer
Gear: 10wt or 12wt rods, 60–80 lb leaders
Note: Don’t stop polling. Patience always pays off in the tarpon game.

              BONEFISH

Whether you’re just starting out or already a pro, Andros’ west side is unbeatable for bonefishing. These fish rarely see flies – which means a great chance at success.
I’ll take you wherever you want to go: Joulters Cays, Red Bays, Fresh Creek, Stafford Creek, North Bight, Wide Opening – just name it.

Rates: $600 per day (includes water)
Gear: 7wt, 8wt, or 9wt rods, 10–12 lb leaders

              PERMIT

Permit are tricky, but Andros gives you a real shot.
Fresh Creek is excellent from February through April during new or full moons. Summer (June to October) is top-tier across all areas – Westside, Joulters Cays, and Fresh Creek.

Rates: $700 per day
Gear: 8wt or 9wt rods, 12–20 lb leaders

             What to Bring

No matter your target species, bring all your rods – the day might surprise you:

• Tarpon: 10wt–12wt, leader 60–80 lb

• Bonefish: 7wt–9wt, leader 10–12 lb

Permit: 8wt–9wt, leader 12–20 lb​

         Where to Stay

I recommend the Cozy Cabin on the Beach (available on Expedia).
There are also luxury and budget-friendly options depending on your style.
